BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!
We, Early’s Bar, are delighted to announce that we have been chosen as a venue for Tommy Tiernan’s upcoming summer tour of the islands of Ireland!
The “World Tour of the Islands” will come to Arranmore on Thursday August 15th with music afterwards by Donegal’s finest Turbulent Eddy.
We have managed to convince Tommy’s tour promoters Aiken Promotions to limit the amount of tickets sold through Ticketmaster as we felt that Arranmore islanders should have priority. Mr. Tiernan also expressed his desire to have as many islanders as possible present. To facilitate anyone from the island wishing to purchase tickets, we have decided to run a pre-sale for islanders home and abroad. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale Thursday 30th May at 12pm with the general sale from Monday 3rd June. Demand is expected to be huge and it will be on a first come, first served basis. We will not be in a position to put tickets aside and payment is expected upfront. Tickets are priced at €25 each and this event is strictly over 18s – no exceptions to this rule.
To facilitate as many as possible, there will be limited seating (approximately 100) with the rest allocated to standing. Please note that seating is not guaranteed on the night, it will also be on a first come, first served basis. The premises will be private, including the bar area for the duration of Mr. Tiernan’s show. However, the bar will be opened to the public afterwards. Please get the word out to anyone who would be interested in attending this special event by liking and sharing our status on Facebook.
Doors will open at 7pm and the show will commence at 8.30pm. No drinks will be served during the show. However, there will be a 15 minute interval when alcohol can be purchased.
