NEW YEARS EVE PARTY
2012

The 2nd Arranmore Lifeboat New Years Eve party will take place in Earlys Bar with music by one of Irelands top bands 'More Power to Your Elbow' who are making a welcome return to the island after several years. The band will be followed by a disco with DJ Tubbsy.

The Arranmore Island RNLI Lifeboat and its voluntary crew have launched more 30 than times so far in 2012 saving many lives, so lets do what we can to support this great service and charity saving lives at sea. We hope to see all the island together for a great night of music and fun. Spread the word! We look forward to seeing you there. Have a great and safe night and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!!

HALLOWEEN MADNESS IN EARLY'S BAR

The Halloween fancy dress bash will take place on Saturday 27th October and we have the fabulous band turbulent EDDY gracing our stage yet again.

There'll be prizes for the best dressed lad and lady, so get your fancy dress costumes on and get along to Early's Bar Arranmore for a great night of Halloween craic! The nights events will kick off at 10pm. It's definately a night not too be missed!!

ARANMOJO MUSIC FESTIVAL

17-19 AUGUST 2012

Presenting the first ever Aranmojo Music Festival! A fantasic two day event to be held in Early's Bar, Arranmore Island, featuring some of the best upcoming musical talents in Ireland. On Saturday 11th August we have the superb band 'Turbulent EDDY' making a welcome return to Early's Bar, Arranmore Island. It is by very popular demand this group is back playing on the island and they will be supported by our very own Jerry and Robert. It will be a fantastic nights entertainment not to be missed so come along for the craic. Look forward to seeing you all there!!

Arranmore UTD Football Club 25th Anniversary Function

Wednesday, 8th August, 2012, 10pm

Arranmore UTD FC will celebrate their 25th anniversary this year and on Wednesday 8th August there will be a function in Early's Bar to mark the occassion. The club would like to invite everyone to this special event!! The club would also wish to see as many past players/committee members attend the event as well as current players also.

On the night there will be an auction of a framed Arranmore UTD jersey signed by Ray Houghton and FAI Chief executive John Delaney. There will also be an auction of the new book by the Donegal League which commemorates their 40th year in existence with old pictures of Arranmore teams in the book as well as Arranmore UTD being on the front cover also!! This book is also signed by the legendary Ray Houghton and FAI Chief Executive John Dealaney!!! Certainly one for the collectors!

Entertainment on the night will include music by Liam Mannering, followed by a disco with DJ Tubs.

We hope to see everyone come out to help to mark this special event. Looking forward to seeing you all and hope you all have a great night.

'The Logues' Debut Appearance in Earlys this Saturday

This coming Saturday (4th August) will see the much talked about band 'The Logues' making their first appearance in Early's Bar, Arranmore. These boys are seriously good so don't miss them! This coming Saturday folks we have the fantastic band 'Whiskey Tears' playing in Early's Bar. They are a great group of performers not to be missed so make sure you get along to Early's this Saturday, 14th July, and join us all for a great nights craic!

Summer Events at Early's Bar

Summer is here and we have a full line up of events and top quality entertainment to come throughout the months of July and August. It will all kick off this coming Saturday (30th) with the band For Folks Sakes making their debut appearance in Early's. The Early's Bar annual barbecue will take place this year on Sunday 1st July to celebrate American Independence Day. The fun starts at 3pm with a kids disco. This will be followed by music session and loads more!!!!! One of the conditions for attending is you must speak American fluently! Haha! Everyone is welcome, especially Americans, so come along and enjoy a great day of fun for all the family... oh, and "Have a nice day!"

Information Evening

On Friday June 29th, Forever Living will be showcasing a range of their aloe vera based products which include skincare, haircare, animal care, weight management etc. These products are laden with ingredients that are beneficial for your health, with aloe vera being the number 1 ingredient.

It is with great regret that we have to announce that tonight's gig by The Logues has been cancelled due to a family bereavement. We at Early's Bar and the band are so sorry for any inconvenience caused. We hope to have this fabulous band back before the summer is out.

Summer Starts Here in Early's Bar!!

GIG CANCELLED

So the June Bank Holiday is over for another year. But don't worry, anyone who is suffering from the post-JBH blues come out to Early's Bar on Saturday 9th June and see the brilliant band 'The Logues' from Castlederg. Kicking off our exciting summer line up of live bands, they will be bringing a crowd with them and will also be doing some filming on the night for the release of their next song, so the craic should be great! There will be a late ferry to Arranmore leaving Burtonport at 10pm Saturday evening and returning at 2.30am in the wee small hours of Sunday. We will also have DJ Tubs doing a spot before and maybe even after the show, so bring your dancing shoes! Admission on the night is €5.00. It will be a great night not to be missed! See you Saturday!! ;)

June Bank Holiday Entertainment at Early's Bar

We have a great line up starting on Friday night with a Disco Bar with DJ John. Also, back by popular demand, we have our very own Jerry & Robert (with special guests!) on Saturday and Sunday and possibly even Monday! June Bank Holiday is Here!!

As long as Jerry has the flag, everything will run smoothly!

Well folks, the June Bank Holiday is (almost!) here! It's looking like it will be a great weekend and the soccer competition is all set and ready to go!! We would like to wish all the visitors to the island this weekend a safe, and happy time during your stay and look forward to seeing you in Early's over the few days you will be here. There will be plenty of craic and entertainment here at Early's Bar over the weekend so check back for our schedule and for some updates on the soccer...  and no doubt some wise cracks from the man Jerry himself! 

A great night last night again in Earlys Bar! Good music by Whiskey Tears and a big thanks to all in attendence, the hen party, Arranmore Utd soccer team. Big congratulations to Gaz McGee, young player of year and to Brendan Brennan senior, well done boys! PS. not forgetting the man himself Bernard McHugh, Micky Dubh's 1st cousin. ;D
